The Foothills Restoration Forum will be providing range health assessment training for the Dry Mixedgrass natural subregion of Alberta on 15 September, 2016. The session will be conducted at the Antelope Creek Ranch near Brooks, Alberta. The course is designed for students, ecologists, land owners, regulators, planners, reclamation practitioners, and anyone interested in learning more about native grassland ecosystems. The course is field-based and provides hands-on use of the range health assessment procotol. Online registration for this event will be available in the near future, and early bird registration will run until 12 August, 2016.
The Foothills Restoration Forum Fall Information Session will be held on 17 November, 2016 at the Claresholm community hall in Claresholm, Alberta. The information session will feature presentations from a variety of stakeholders on the subject of grassland conservation and restoration.
